There's certainly been a lack of posts recently. But even looking back, most aren't about the stated intent of these boards, and I don't remember any successful 'buddying up' being recorded
So is there actually a demand out there (for help finding a 'buddy' to run with), or is it satisfied by the various runs that Moti organises (or other means)? Are you put off using these boards because you think you're (only) supposed to ask about Run Buddies? ...Should Moti 'reframe' what they're for?
If there is a demand out there, does it (you) stay invisible because of the lack of previous response on boards, the hassle of signing up (if you do), the lack of privacy (no private messages if you don't sign up), the lack of vetting (by a trusted 3rd party?), or any other reason
Just curious

For completeness : Since 14/7/09, Bristol board had 20 threads, 4 about Buddies. (Cardiff 12 threads, the 2 'Buddy' threads actually being about group runs) 10 people contributed to Buddy threads, but (AFAIK) no 'buddying up' happened Activity (might) resemble the "90-9-1" rule of thumb for online communities (posts, views), but if there are 25 (not necessarily unique) visitors most days, a rough total of "Views" since 14/7/09 also indicates <50% feel like reading any post once they get here! Seems like a pent-up demand for something . The failure to complete 'buddying up' (yet) is a pity, but not surprising, (and maybe it's done via the group runs)
