Hi all well its the new year and some of you will be thinking that its time to get healthy and all that. well Moti can help as many of you may know we have a run club that goes out every Thursday evening @ 6:30pm no matter what the weather. we have 3 groups a beginner an intermediate and an advanced group. The beginners group taken by Jo, is what it says beginner, never run before perfect Jo will take you out and steadily introduce to the concept of running. The intermediate group with myself, we go and do about 5 miles in total (although you don't have to go that far if you don't want to) at a steady pace of 8 to 10 kph (Most people walk at 5kph) so its not to fast, we can also look at doing intervals and speed work as well. The advanced group this is run by Dave Bird and he will take you through fartlek and hill training as well as doing race prep. All this is totally free and its really good fun. you can also meet people who are doing the same sorts of things as well so its a great way to pick up tips.
